Thanks for teaching me what love is — including the love for myself

Originally this story was for one person but when I look back, there are many more people that I have to be grateful for their existence in my life.

Its my best friend is willing to call me days and nights because she knows I have a sleeping disorder

It's my mom who goes the extra mile to send me food I like when I'm away

It's my dad who never says he loves me, but he would do whatever it takes to protect me

It's my sister who saves up every penny she earns so that she can buy me a unicorn because she knows my favorite spiritual animal

It's my community who surprised me with boardgame gifts, birthday cake, and the sense of belonging I have never had

Last but not least, its the man I have always adored, my one true partner in crime, the father to my children (if I have any), the Jesse to my Celine who keeps pushing me to be the better version of myself every day
